Too easy to root for the team that's NOT the Mormon school, doesn't have an HC, is in the Pac 12, and happens to be good (at least this year).

Love it or hate it, BYU has a ton of disadvantages, that if I was a kid again, I'd probably completely overlook in favor of a school like Utah, when it's alternative just isn't "with it"...

Kids aren't rational, and just flow to the biggest, shiniest objects. "But Johnny football, having forced grooming standards is just sooo awesome, trust me!"
