During the summer him and a couple other players got in trouble for attending a party that got busted by the cops, they were drinking. Every coach wanted to kick him off the team except Anae. Anae proposed a contract system, that if anyone of those players screwed up again, they would be suspended for a game or more. Sione signed the contract and followed suit. He even messed up again, by missing team meeting and therefore had to sit out of the Nevada game. Anae has control of minority players, they like him.
