in my opinion. I don't think the B-12 wants to span from within shouting distance of the East Coast to Utah.

I think the only way BYU comes back into the mix is if West Virginia decides the B-12 was a mistake and moves to the ACC or SEC in another round of expansions.

West Virginia has been making noise about their travel costs in the B-12 and wants more local partners. They will be pushing very hard for expansion in their neighborhood.

And frankly, that makes a lot of sense for the B-12.

I think BYU is going to be Independent for a long time yet.
