Let's be honest here. BYU is a football school 1st. Hoops 2nd.

Because of that, Bronco gets more scrutiny because fans care more about his program. Rose gets more of a pass because most fans care a little less.

Also, if Rose just gets to the NCAA tourney, that element involves inclusion and a win involves a a great season. Football does not have the same thing, it is more exclusive. And BYU under Bronco has yet to reach a BCS/NY6 Bowl, where Rose has been to the Sweet 16.

Fair or not, there it is.
