True.....but if Jimmer is the yardstick that we measure our players by....
then it will be a loooooooooooooooooooonnnnnngggggg time before we regarded anyone as "special" again. Haws is definitely not Jimmer, but he's in the discussion for the 2nd best BYU player in the past 25 years.

I hope that he lead us to a win or two in the NCAA tournament this year, but I'm not sure that we have the supporting cast. I wasn't tremendously encouraged by the raggedy-yewt play that we saw in the scrimmage last night. SO MANY TURNOVERS. It looked like a bad church ball game for most of the night. I'm hoping that a lot of that was due to KC not playing. If KC can generate scoring opportunities for everyone as the point, Fischer can serve as the knock-down 3 point shooter we've been missing, and somebody (Nielsen or Aytes, most likely) can generate a tiny amount of scoring in the post, this should be a NCAA team.

My wishes for this year are 1) Beat Utah, and 2) make it past the round of 64 in the tourney. If we can do that, I will be satisfied.
