Iphone users: Help with an odd bug. Caller ID freaking out
My sister in law asked me about this a few days ago and today a guy at work brought it up to me. As I have mentioned on the board, I'm a bit of a phone nut so both of these people came to me asking for help. I have researched it but can't find a decent fix for it... best suggestion is to factory reset phone. That is unacceptable. Both of these people have already had to do this to upgrade to ios 8.1. after reseting to get to 8.0.1 and .0.2 etc.

Here is what is happening:

-My wife calls her sister. Sister's Iphone 6 rings caller ID saying it is my wife (normal), but sisters husbands iphone 6 also rings saying it is from my wife. And neither sister or her husband can pick up the call successfully. My wife has a moto x (android). This happens on and off from other callers besides my wife as well. The sister and husband are on tmobile.

-Friend at work calls his wife. On his phone, it says he is calling himself. On the wifes phone, it says the call is from her (herself). But they are able to answer call atleast. They are both on AT&T.

Both of these seem to happen intermittently.

I'd really like to be able to lend some help to them with a solution other than, "try resetting it again."

Anyone experience this?
