announced this past summer that the acquisition was going to take place. We are now one of the largest engineering and construction companies in the world. I work in the corporate tax department and we have been repeatedly told not to worry about losing our jobs.

This morning we received a survey from our new VP of Tax asking us to indicate our effectiveness and importance to the functioning of the tax department. The words effectiveness and importance were in caps and bolded. I think it is time to really start looking for what other opportunities are out there.
