1. We played them at a neutral site last year so maybe we had to give a little to get them at the MC (this could have been a good game at the ESA)

2. The game is two days before Christmas so I would imagine a noon start time so they could fly back to UMASS that night and then get home for Christmas the following day.

3. It is going to continually be very tough to get teams to come to the MC. Stanford and UMASS most likely both asked that we play them when the students are gone......after all we played at Stanford last year on their fall break (no students were at the game if you recall)

No doubt it is a weird time. I am more upset that BYUtv is airing the first game of the season and the game starts at 5:00pm local time. I get ESPN dictating a time like that but not BYUtv
