the opportunity. I just don't think this is the case. And I don't think the current coaching staff has the ability to come back from this. The problems are more than simply recruiting or injuries or whatever excuse you want to make. BYU's schedule is not that difficult and the defense, even with all of the starters, were not very good and still making average offenses look incredible.
No one's getting fired but I think the direction of the program will continue to decline under this coaching staff. I hope I am wrong but unless there is a major paradigm shift, things will not get dramatically better.
