Former players have the right to speak out obviously. But Stevenson's open letter was so critical of the the coaching staff, it seems like current players could read that and give up on Bronco if they hadn't done so already.

The timing of the letter didn't seem very good either. Reading it couldn't help with the morale of a team already struggling with losses and injuries. Maybe Stevenson's concerns would be better communicated in the off season when they won't impact a team trying to prepare for games.
