Really? If my kid has the grades and test scores to get into THE BYU...
she sure as hades isn't going to BYU-I. With or without football.
That said...if my kid has the grades and test scores to get into BYU (3.8+ GPA, 29+ ACT), she will have the entire world of higher education open to her as well. While BYU will certainly be cheaper than other, more highly ranked universities, I'm going to strongly encourage my kid to apply to some of the truly elite universities in the US and the UK like I did. Football be darned.
