best scenario in many respects for what BYU wants to achieve. Independence, and making it into the Final 8 playoff (which is right around the corner), are not mutually exclusive. One thing that BYU should do that is 100% within its control (and the BOT should strongly support), is to offer a package to recruits that is BETTER than what the PAC12 offers. I think that could be easily accomplished, and could tip the balance in recruiting enough so that we could win many more games. BYU MUST WIN to accomplish its goals.
