BYU has one of it's better OOC home schedules in recent memory, with Stanford, UMass, and Utah in the MC. As I look across the board, I see that the WCC schedules are, by and large, toughening up year by year. This is the best collective schedule I have seen in the WCC.
Here are, in my opinion, 3 of the best OOC games per school. I’m only going to count the first game that is known in OOC tournaments (where applicable. For example, Gonzaga plays Georgia in the preseason NIT, but I don't think that's one of their 3 best OOC games). Many teams, like BYU in the Maui, will likely end up having some excellent games that aren’t scheduled, but we don’t know for sure who the opponents will be.
The WCC finished #9 in conference RPI last season (one spot ahead of #10 MWC, for context), and the league should be slightly stronger this year overall. Excellent OOC’s won’t hurt that. Maybe Utah State will figure that out someday. Lose and you aren’t dinged much, win and it’s a huge boost. Props to the entire WCC (with the possible exceptions of Pacific and San Francisco—who both still have at least one solid game) for scheduling a bunch of nice OOC games.

#16 SDSU (neutral)
#25 Utah. I have doubts that they are a Top 25 team, and it’s been a long time since they were a quality opponent, but in any event, they should be solid this season.
