professional leagues, and have all 60 compete in a decathlon. It's my guess that the worst NBA player of that dozen wouldn't end up in the bottom half. The type and combination of movement, speed and strength that basketball require at the highest level pretty effectively weed out the "just talls." There aren't many (any?) Manut Bols in the Assiciation anymore.
I submit that ANY center in basketball would EMBARRASSINGLY outperform ANY center in football in a decathlon, and that your average guard in basketball would perform on par with your average skill player in football, or middle-infielder in baseball, or forward in soccer (or whatever they have in hockey ).
