Apologies, I should have specified, comparing NBA & EPL for the ones just above.
I don't see how the average of a random sampling of world class soccer players has any significant advantage over world class basketball players except in the 3 running events. The 4 upper-body events would be so overwhelmingly in favour of NBA players it'd just be silly, and as I said, long jump and hurdles would likely go basketball's way as well.
I just don't see the best soccer players in the world doing ANYTHING better than the best basketball players in the world besides running in a straight line quickly.
