The travel comment is just stupid.
Does it really make that much difference whether it is an hour and a half flight or a three hour flight? Or one hour versus four hours. How long is the flight from Talahassee to Boston College? Travel time doesn't make ANY difference in the modern era of charter flights.

TV heads like to talk about travel. It is a bunch of BS. Road games versus home game - yes, but whether your flight is one hour or four hours isn't a material difference in game performance. It probably started back when teams would ride the bus everywhere, but a charter flight from Provo to anywhere really isn't anything of substance.

It certainly isn't an excuse for losing. They might be tired when they get back, but they get Sunday off. The example he used was flying to Florida one week and Boise the next. Boise is what, a 45 minute flight? Writers don't think about it. If you are an NBA team and you are traveling a lot of miles and on the road for three weeks, yes, that is exhausting...and it is on the road. That is a difference. Maiking a four hour flight to Florida and having a 2 hour time difference really isn't that big of a deal. If it wasn't we could never have beaten UConn and Texas on consecutive weeks.

We are losing because our team isn't performing, Especially on defense. Even when we were winning, the writing was on the wall with all of the yards the other teams were getting each game.

Not only did Phil Steel call for MTSU to win, Brian Logan did also by a score of 42-21. We find out today.
