I worked in the Temple last night and I got to talking with a guy there who said he was the President of the Alabama chapter of the BYU alumni association.
He said he has been talking to people from the AD's office at BYU for quite some time because of the MTSU game and was told as of last week that BYU had sold over 13,000 tickets. Most of those were sold to people in Tennessee. 3k to 4K were sold to people in Georgia, mostly the Atlanta area, and 2k to 3k in the Northern Alabama area.
I guess BYU wants to have a sell out today, but doesn't know if that'll happen.
He also mentioned that even though they have sold that many tickets they don't know if everyone that bought tickets will show up. Will be interesting to see how many BYU fans actually show up.
