Season-ending back injury. Haven't seen anything about this on CB yet. If I missed it, apologies.

Stinks, because a big purpose of the rest of this season is getting the defense back on track, or at least heading in the right direction. Hate to think that Fred will miss the next few weeks of practice and the two remaining decent games.
