While a player with the wheels of Taysom Hill is exciting to watch and makes some jaw dropping plays running through the secondary as if he has a different gear than the defense, it is not necessary in this system.

We need to be better on the o-line and have a more explosive running back than we currently have (other than Jamal), but the QB only needs to be fleet enough of foot to keep the defense honest on the zone read and gash them 3-4 times a game when it matters most and they are cheating to stop the running back. Tanner can do that to my knowledge.

Would be great to have a pocket passer like Steward who was even better at reading defenses and making throws and you only need the mobility to extend plays and run the Zone read effectively in critical situations.
