so when we went 4-0 to start the season, I couldn't help but expect only ~1 loss the rest of the season. Even after those first four games, there was a feeling of "Bronco needs to take over the defense and fix it if we have any chance of going undefeated."

Also, I think those that are saying 12-0 or 11-1 are using revisionist history. Phil Steel had us winning 9 games, the O/U was 8.5, etc. We were not expected to go undefeated.
