Other than maybe 2010 and 2011, they've been pretty awful.

In 2010 they were in the high 30's I think, which is pretty decent. 50's the next year. Most others are in the 100's, in other words, top 10-25 MOST penalized teams. And some years that they have fewer penalties it's for more yards... Much bigger, dumber penalties.

The last two years have been absolutely horrible. Top 10 worst both times. 4 Penalties at Cal and we break the 100 total mark again. This discipline is a joke and it ain't changing anytime soon. It's way out of control of the coaches. Doesn't help when you have a few amateurs and a HC who doesn't care.
