If accurate, I'm honestly surprised the Giants wouldn't match that offer. The scuttlebutt was those figures (like I said in my earlier post) we're around the max both in dollars and years that the G's were willing to go, with Boston likely going longer. If Boston got him for that, it sure sounds like Pablo wanted out of SF for some reason.
