I'm already bored with Indy. The early season was exciting since it held out hope that this might actually be the first worthwhile season since 2009. Instead, it all came crashing down against Utah State and hasn't recovered since. Wins over UNLV, MTSU and Rydell High don't impress me at all.

Saturday's game against Cal will at least show a P5 team with something to play for. I agree that crawling back to the depleted MWC is a huge failure. If BYU is stuck playing New Mexico, Wyoming and Colorado State every year forever and forever, then I'm done. BYU already plays Boise State and Utah State every year, so what interesting games do they gain in MWC? SDSU and AFA are the only ones I'd care to see. Hawaii may not even have a football program soon.

BYU has slipped well below Utah now. It is about on par with Utah State. Going back to the MWC would put it about where Nevada is today.
