I know that many on this board think that the best option defensively
Against San Diego State is to play a lot of zone defense. They feel that that is our best option given our liabilities and that San Diego State is a poor shooting team from the perimeter so that gives us our best chance. I somewhat disagree. Though some zone is important, San Diego State is a very good rebounding team. They rely on offensive rebounds to score. It is much more difficult to rebound defensively out of the zone. Playing man-to-man is our best option from a defensive rebounding perspective.
