Utah is still in the MWC that the climate in the remainder of FBS football is the same as it is today.
Independence was a risky move and a move that had to be made at the time. That being said, there is little to no room for error in Independence. Each and every loss hurls BYU further into irrelevance. BYU cannot thrive going 8-5 as an Independent.
