Fellow WCC member LMU has the all-time single game scoring record in the Maui
Invitational.
The Lions scored 162 points in a 1990 Maui Invitational game.
The Lions were lead by Hank Gathers (the 1989 NCAA scoring and rebounding champion), and Bo Kimble (the 1990 NCAA scoring Champion). The Lions would famously go on to advance to the Elite 8 after Hank Gathers died during a WCC Tournament game against Portland.
I don't think the Cougars will break 100 tonight, but it will be interesting to see a battle of a very low scoring team (SDSU) versus a very high scoring team (BYU).
