That would throw him off. I would have no desire to earn any respect from a guy like that, so if he asked for a wedding gift, I would say "Well, you were already married to my niece before I met you, just like I was already married to my wife before you met me, so how about you get me a present, then I will get you one?" If he asks you for money, turn it right around and say you need some money. Ask him for so much crap that he never wants to talk to you again. Maybe I am just in one of my moods right now, but I would annoy the crap out of him until he never wanted to talk to me again.
