Got paid out about 120 hrs, my company was real busy and I just didnt feel like I could use the time nor did I have need. So I banked the money.

About 8 or 9 months latter the Economic downturn hit and the company started furloughing people. Seeing that I hadnt had a real vacation in a long time and there wasnt much work to do I offered to take a month of furlough, we used the money I saved previously and went to Hawaii for a month.

When I got back they started laying people off but I was saved because I was a company guy willing to take one for the team with volentary furlough.
