I love it when people who miss the point try to educate others. Tassell is just

stating his opinion that we'd be a lock for a NY6 bowl game. If we were undefeated we'd be around 6-10 right now (conceivably as high as 4-5) and a win vs. Cal would keep us right there, if not bump us up. In that position I would share tassell's opinion that we'd be a lock. He's not talking auto-bid, which is what you are trying to explain.

Luckly, BM, injuries, horrible personnel/staff decisions and a bad defense made all this moot.
