The hollow feeling never seems to go away regardless of how much time has passed. It's been nearly 25 years since my brother's tragic accident while on his mission and we, as a family, still get teary eyed despite our faith that he's on the Lord's errand, doing great work. It kind of fractured our family in some senses and its never completely healed. We should have gone through therapy over it.
