I'm not talking about a smart phone or anything like that, but one that is capable of sending and receiving calls to/from a handful of numbers that I specify (e.g. my phone, my wife's, 911). Being able to track it would be nice, too. It's not daily, but there are times when I wish I could call him (for example, his school bus was quite late dropping him off the other day and I was thinking it would be nice if I could call and make sure he was on it and that it was coming).

I've become addicted to instant communication it seems.
