Having a bit of cognitive dissonance, lady at work is going on early maternity
leave, wont be back until 1Q next year. I'm the lucky winner that is inheriting quite a bit of her planned work (some $1-2M+ projects, quite a bit of travel, etc.).

I'm usually supportive of policies that are mindful of women in the workplace. I think being lds has made me aware (more sensitive?) to that fact that working moms have to do tons of stuff. I get it, moms have to leave early sometimes, work from home, etc. But this is the first time I've really found my workload shifting with no clear objectivity.
