Does anyone know what Sitake's feelings toward BYU really are? I have a pretty reliable source that talked to someone close to Sitake recently and I'm not sure that his feelings towards BYU are all that positive at the moment. That contradicts everything that I've read on CB about him so far, so I wondered if anyone out there actually knows??

So this person was in a conversation with a gentleman who is a long time friend with Kalani. During their conversation it came up that Kalani wasn't that happy that Utah didn't give him an extension. My "source" asked "Do you think that he would be willing to come to BYU?" and the response was that he likely wouldn't (it wasn't discussed whether he thought he would come as an HC or DC, just "would he come to BYU if he's not happy at Utah"). The reason he didn't think so had to do with how he felt he was treated at BYU, but I don't have specifics on what might or might not have happened. That's why I'm coming to CB!

In other news, this individual with whom my "source" was talking, had some interesting things to say about P5 affiliation in the future. This person is connected at levels that would know. My source asked what he thought the chances were and he said "with a twinkle in his eye" that serious movement is going to happen soon after the season's end and that he was confident that BYU would be part of it. He mentioned that there was an issue with Sunday play but "that's all been worked out". My source asked "So do you know if we will be invited?" and he said smiling "Only the president knows for sure...".

So take this all for what it's worth. I got this from my "source" who will likely not have many conversations like this again any time soon, and has never been a "source" for anything in the past. I wasn't there for any of these conversations and, like all of you, have heard it all before. The person that I know who had this conversation just kind of brought it up during natural conversation and wasn't trying to start rumors or troll or anything, and this person is very trustworthy (I fully believe that this conversation actually took place). He just related this info to me about the same way I'm posting it here. But the person he talked to is someone that would be in the know..
