Winder is the best all around player on the team. He is also one of the most consistent players on the team. Having him come off the bench is a huge asset to this team and will pay dividends in March. Serious man crush right now
I'm curious if we might be undefeated right now with a Jamal Aytes on the team. Guess we'll never know
Though improved Luke worthington and journeyman Austin are going to be hard to rely on in any offensive capacity. They played as well as could be expected tonight with the bigs they were going up against.
I'm very impressed with Nielson and super excited to have him for four straight years.
I'm somewhat worried with Fischer being a much better version of Brock Zylstra. Huge scorer against gimmes and disappears or shut down against quality opponents. He shot 4/13 against SDSU and 2/11 tonight against Purdue. Hopefully that trend will change.
Haws is the man. People expect too much of him. He hits that game winner 9/10 times.
God doesn't care about football or basketball.
Overall, even with the losses, this team is significantly better than what I was expecting going into the year. Tough start but I could see this team winning a game (maybe two if we see some significant improvements in our interior defense and scoring) in the tourney.
