when Rose started putting Mika in later in the game because Mika would always pick up 2 quick fouls because refs are quick to blow their whistles early on? I think he's saying that's what Worthington is for. It was a genius strategy by Rose last year, but I don't think Neilson or Kaufusi are assets worth protecting for the end of a game, so I don't think that's what he is doing.

I happen to think Worthington has potential but shouldn't be a starter in his current state. The problem is that there really isn't anyone much better. Everyone we have is so raw, so I'm not sure it makes a difference who is out there at the 5 spot. The guy is giving it his all and may be the most consistent player we have early in the season.
