Chaminade. These two losses in OT are going to be costly come tourney selection time. It is really too bad these guys couldn't have pulled out one of those OT games.

I hope our big men start taking the ball up a lot stronger....if you are 6 11" you should be able to go up and dunk the ball every once in a while...I am tired of seeing our lay up attempts getting swatted.

We are missing Carlino's ability to drive the lane...our guards right now are not much of a threat to put pressure on the defense by driving to the hoop. We spend a lot of effort running a weave out past the 3 point line and are really not putting any pressure on the defense.

I do have to admit that BYU was way more competitive than I thought they would be. It was fun to watch. Let's hope KC is healthy...I think he played a few more minutes than I would have liked to see him play. Without him we don't go into ot with either of those teams.
December will decide if BYU is an NCAA team or an NIT team...we need to win 4 of 5 games against USU, Utah, Stanford, UMASS, and Gonzaga in my opinion to get in the dance. Four of those games will be at home. If we lose 2 or more of these games we will be lucky to be a 13-16 seed.
