It's not enough to read a management book.
Like a lot of what is in those books, you are making things up because you want an answer and have no idea.
It's similar to alchemy, which is what you are preaching and the current state of those pre Moneyball analysts who ignore the numbers. The stat gurus have emerged in recent years to refute (i say "refute" not rebut) what you have written here on this subject.
Lots of people live on superstition and alchemy. That is not necessary and certainly not as reliable or effective where we have science.
