The story of Badfinger is really sad. Those guys got their launch via the Beatles and were on their way, when they got ripped off big time. Their dream was shattered and the two leaders band committed suicide. Not sure why that one comes to mind. There are many. You could even point to someone like Michael Jackson and shake your head at what fame and fortune does do ruin lives of even the most successful. A difficult thing to navigate, without question.
