We could have always used the guy who won the Ute, Washington & Stanford games
for us. Unfortunately, the opposing coaches were as dumbfounded as us fans shoulda been. It wasn't at all typical of the Matt Carlino they gameplanned for on film.
That was a guy that if he got hot you gave him a cushion & let him sink his team--or at least drive his coach crazy & put his offense in a funk.
