It's time to throw T-Mobile Under the Bus
I've been a customer of T-Mobile for 5 years or so. I've always been quite pleased with them, with the understanding that their network is not as strong as other carriers. However. they have so royally screwed this up, it is time for me to find someone else.

In October, I got put on my company's plan. So they were supposed to remove me from our 6-line plan and leave the other lines on the plan. It turns out, they cancelled the entire account. So we got a close-out bill for $278 that we had to pay. It included some equipment my brother-in-law was still paying off. I also had to return a Cell Phone booster to avoid a non-return charge.

So I begrudgingly agreed to pay the $278 and return the booster. They charged my account the $278 on October 29. Then on November 5, they charged me again for $278. Then this Monday I got another bill, saying I owed $68 as the remaining balance including my non-return fee for the signal booster. I called them on Monday and they couldn't find a record of me returning the booster. They were going to put in a request to do a manual search for it and get back to me in 24-48 hours. They never did.

Well, this morning I got a call from a collections agency trying to collect the $68 I "owe" T-Mobile. I have never been so pissed off at a company in my life.

So bottom line, I need recommendations on a new company for my remaining five lines. I would like to remain close to the $125 we are currently paying. Also any advice on how to deal with these bogus charges? I'm looking through my papers now to find the tracking number for this signal booster.

To summarize, they cancelled an account they should not have, they charged my credit card twice for the close out charges, they are claiming I never returned the signal booster, and have now gone to collections on me.
