to just a crappy one. In a normal 'up' year, a 5-6 Cal team on the road should be easily beaten. However, in a defensive rebuilding year where we had key injuries to the offense, beating this Cal team should be tough. Make no mistakes, Cal is a decent team this year. UCLA, Arizona and even Oregon had a hard time beating these guys this year. Looking at their performance, I would put them on par with Utah and/or Boise St.

Plus, it would set us up to finish this horrible season on a positive note and creates a little momentum for next year. Yes, we shouldn't storm the field or make t-shirts after beating them, but it shouldn't be flipped as a negative thing even if its a close game.
