I never read the books so take that into consideration. I liked the first one because of the compelling concept.

I hardly remember the second movie at all.

This movie starts slowly. The action sequences were weak. I don't think the lead character is as good in this movie as the first one.

I don't want to sound all Twilight here but the love triangle is actually very interesting and compelling.

I understand it is meant to be the set up to the big finale. I give it a B-
