Conference championship is a selection criteria. Miss. State won't
even play in the SEC CCG. If Ohio State wins the BIG CC, they jump Miss. State. Even a win against Ole Miss won't save them. The committee won't keep out a one-loss conference champion for the sake of a one-loss team that didn't even qualify for the CCG.
