I'm thinking of getting one and setting it up in the tv room in my basement with a high impact projector screen to make a DIY golf simulator. I've seen a few people that have done this online for around $2k, just curious if anyone here has tried it or just used the OptiShot and what you think of it.

I know it's not gonna track everything you get with the more expensive systems, but I don't have $20k to spend on a toy yet. This seems like a good alternative and an easier sell to my wife because it can double as the theater room we've been wanting.
