Utah defense is not nearly as good at .929, though better than BYU at .985, SVU and Chaminade not included. Moreover, BYU has played much tougher D-1 teams than the Utes.

Furthermore, vs Purdue and USU which are statistically good defensive teams, BYU scored impressive 1.10 and 1.20 PPP. D-1 average is .996

So far, BYU offense has not been stopped by excellent defense.

I never predict individual games, but you could make worse bets than heavily favor BYU in Wednesday's game at home. You just never know who will be feeling it on a particular day. BYU defense is the primary concern.
