Could show that you are stir crazy and flakey to any potential future employers. Not sure it would be a net positive unless he absolutely killed it at osu.
Dont know why you would put the pressure on yourself to go build something from scratch at a job that isn't a step up, when you have already something really strong built where you are. But hey, I am biased.
