Here's an answer everyone, including our ND brethren would approve...
1) Schedule BYU v. ND on CCG Saturday every year.

2) Prepare a rotating schedule as follows:
- Year 1 - Play at ND
- Year 2 - Play at BYU
- Year 3 - Play somewhere in Europe, ND is the home team, BYU gets paid a guarantee to show up
- Year 4 - Play somewhere in South America, ND is the home team, BYU gets paid a guarantee to show up
- Year 5 - Play somewhere in Australia, ND is the home team, BYU gets paid a guarantee to show up
- Year 6 - Play somewhere in Asia, ND is the home team, BYU gets paid a guarantee to show up
- Year 7 - Play in Hawaii, ND is the home team, BYU gets paid a guarantee to show up

What does this do for BYU and ND?
1) 6 of every 7 years, ND gets another guaranteed TV date on NBC,
2) Every year, BYU gets another game on national TV,
3) Every year, BYU and ND play a relevant game on the same day the conferences are playing their CCGs,
4) Given ND's association with the Catholic Church, it should get the billing as the home team on out of country games, but BYU should get a good guarantee,
5) 5 of every 7 years, both BYU and ND get a 13th game without having to schedule a patsy to get the 13th game, which increases both schools' SOS, and
6) It's unique. What other programs in the nation could pull of this kind of a game on an annual basis and make money doing it?

Does this help our home schedule? NOPE. Sorry, I can't figure out how to help there. But, this is an idea that helps both of the nation's only indy programs to help themselves.
