his book "a short history of nearly everything" is the best book i've ever
listened to on audible. ever.
i paid my teens to listen, got the idea from a friend. its a great introduction to any and all of the sciences.
and the narrator is intoxicating.

Never read that book, but enjoyed "A Walk in the Woods", also by Bill Bryson.
