Ugh... Just learned about an office "clean eating challenge"
I don't know all of the details, but was told that the whole office is starting with the new year. As a fitness guy (personally, not professionally), I'm heavily expected to join in.

All I know, is it is being pushed big time by a lady in the office who is a Whole Foods nut. Ironically, she's overweight as well.

I know that the first two weeks we are cutting out sugar. I asked if it was added sugar or all sugar. I was told "all sugar." I said, "So, no fruit?" They said, "Fruit is fine, just no added sugar on top of your fruit." At this point I know they have no clue what they are talking about.

I was also informed that after cutting out sugar, we'll also be cutting out fruits, carbs, legumes, and a handful of other things. The stated goal in the end is to "eat paleo" by ending up only eating lean meats, some vegetables, avocados, coconut oil, and a smattering of other options.

Even though I'm sure that everything is going to start with a bang, and pitter out around the tenth day in, I'm sure that I'll be dealing with this for the next couple of months before it completely dies off.

Kill me now.
