My opinion
Obviously, it depends on what you like to ski.

I have skied Snowbird 5 times this year, and it is boney. If you stick to the groomed runs, you are fine. If you want to get into the stuff that makes snowbird, snowbird be prepared to hit many rocks and not be able to access many runs that you normally can.

Deer Valley has an advantage in low snow conditions in that their mountain is much easier to cover with less snow. Furthermore, they normally have far less snow than the cottonwood canyon resorts, so they have a much better snowmaking capability. They've been making snow for over a month now, and I imagine that most of their main runs will be just fine.
